An Affirmative Action Plan or Affirmative Action Program (AAP) is a management tool designed to ensure equal employment opportunities (recruitment, selection, advancement, etc.) through the use of diagnostic analyses based off internal audits and reporting systems. September is officially here, and the September 30th due date for EEO-1 Reporting is fast approaching, which means the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service Reports (VETS-100 and VETS-100A) are due as well.  Similar to EEO-1 reporting, VETS-100 and VETS-100A Reports are compliance surveys mandated by federal regulations and statutes.  As mentioned in our previous blog post on EEO Reporting, frequently asked questions pertaining to filing include: Who needs to file; What do you need to report and why; and, When do you have to do all of this? September 30th is just around the corner, which means for many of us that it is time to start gathering the information needed for annual EEO-1 reporting. The EEO-1 Report is a compliance survey that is mandated by federal regulations and statutes.
